OUR MISSION
At PS 971, we celebrate the diversity of all learners and languages that fosters a school culture valuing diversity inclusive of all stakeholders. As a school, we are committed and determined to sustain the progression of goals that will improve the legacy of our future. We provide an instructional program that requires research-based strategies, effective feedback and informed differentiation. It is through this strategic planning that data is consistently gathered and analyze to set goals and provide effective feedback for ALL students to achieve high academic standards. This is coupled with building capacity through reflection on current practices, using data to drive instruction, and communicating with colleagues to improve ourselves and our students as learners in life.
